Materials Planner - Contract Role 6 Months
SAP Experience Essential.
The Role will involve:
Support the supply chain primary planning team in the following key areas:
Review monthly forecast and review capacity
Releasing Process Orders and track their progress
Maintain planning master data to accurately model Liverpool supply operations
Issue trackers and plans on and off site weekly.
Input data to Global Supply Chain SCIM system
Represent Supply Chain at operational meetings and lead Supply Chain topics
Take on an appropriate share of departmental support activities (training, SAP data housekeeping, new materials introduction, lead one of the weekly processes)
Support Weekly Materials review process
Evaluate and implement change controls and manage deviations impacting supply chain.
Support SAP materials planning activities such as:
Using SAP define a materials delivery schedule which supports the production plan taking account any planned material changes.
Place orders on suppliers to acquire materials in line with agreed procurement specifications, pricing, lead times and shelf life.
Provide monthly forecast to key vendors of future procurement needs
Ensure material master data and parameters are accurate to drive a robust, achievable materials plan which supports the production plan
Prioritise the QC releases as required to avoid stock out situations
Optimise inventory levels to minimise expiry of materials without business risk
Review material expiry report, with follow up investigation and actions as required
Raise and follow up on Quality Notifications (QNs) for expired materials
If you have over 12 months experience as a Materials planner preferably within Pharma or an FMCG organisation.
Degree or relevant experience / qualification
