Full Time Hours Monday - Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm with 25 Days Holiday

Are you an experienced buyer with supply chain knowledge? Do you like to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships? If so, then we would love to hear from you!

The role will include:

·  Process and manage orders to ensure suppliers are delivering in the correct time frames, ensuring cost and stock hold requirements being adhered to

·  Maintain accuracy when inputting data on systems

·  Proactively look for cost savings through consolidation and negotiation with existing suppliers and sourcing and developing relationships with new suppliers

·  Ensure that existing suppliers are maintaining agreed cost and lead-time agreement

·  Liaising with other departments internally to ensure the supply chain process is delivering efficiently and following up on any actions required

·  Making use of MRP system to maintain stock levels and ensure they will fulfil the manufacturing department requirements

·  Manage any supplier issues and conduct supplier reviews

·  Understand budgets, costings and be able to product reports which will assist the business

The ideal candidate will have:

·  Previous experience in a buying role with knowledge of producing accurate costings

·  Strong negotiation and communication skills

·  Administrative and data entry skills with good attention to detail

·  Able to work efficiently in a fast paced and high pressure environment

·  Experience in working with Sage 50 accounts (preferable and not essential)

Desirable Skills/Experience:

·  Previous experience of working within manufacturing or FMCG environments
