Summary
This pivotal role involves working as part of the Marketing team and alongside the Marketing Team Leader, ensuring the maintenance and implementation of the overall company marketing strategy.
Requirements / Profile:
Bright graduate / equivalent experience within marketing
Strong IT literacy, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to analyse and identify trends and make recommendations
Good organisational and prioritisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated, eager to develop, team-player, good communicator
Knowledge of the craft industry would be beneficial but not necessary
Strong written & proofing skills is essential in this role
Key Areas of Responsibility
· Ability to create blogs, press releases and editorial pieces for B2B and B2C audiences - this includes strong idea generation and written skills
· Work with the Marketing Team Leader to ensure that all external marketing materials (editorial/advertorial/adverts/etc) are proofed before going to print
· Work from the Marketing Overview and Campaign Schedule to ensure the implementation of all campaigns
· Assist the Marketing Team Leader with creating monthly, quarterly & yearly updates
· Be the company's Charity Ambassador to support our overall charity goals as set out in the Marketing Overview
· Working with the Marketing Team Leader to support mobile app activity, including checking and responding to community posts
· Support the Marketing Team leader with organising consumer and trade shows as well as customer demonstrations (this includes organising travel arrangements, purchases required equipment/props, organising labour etc)
· Continually researching the craft industry and have a good understanding of the competitors and trends
· Have an excellent understanding of the company's product ranges and the demographic of the brand
· Ad hoc administration duties to support the Marketing Team Leader & overall marketing team.
