My client is in the leisure industry in the Windermere area. They are seeking a Management Accountant with the aptitude and skills to perform the following tasks -
*Preparing financial statements
*Imputing Financial transactions
*Making sure spending is in line with budgets
*Analysing your company's financial performance and making longer term forecasts
*Recommending ways of cutting costs
*Working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
*Nominal Ledger Reonciliations
*Providing information for Audits
*Problem resolution (Stock value, cost of sales)
*Payroll processing
*Taking accounts up to Trial Balances.
*Assistance in providing variance analysis
Required skills and Experience:
*Advanced EXCEL (Basic Formulas, Formatting, Look up tables, Pivot tables)
*Experience in management accounting
*Experience of Reconciliations (Bank/Stock//Accruals/Prepayments)
*Attention to detail
*Effective time management, can meet deadlines effectively
*Works well as part of a team and individually
*Ability to communicate effectively - At all levels
*Analytical and logical problem solving skills
*Good communications and presentation skills
*An ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
*Honesty and discretion
*Profit and loss account review and commentary
*Managing fixed Asset and Inventory reviews
The salary will be £20'000 - £30'000 dependant on experience and qualifications. The hours of work are 09:30 to 17:30, Mon to Fri. Would consider part time, hours to suit both parties.
