Management Accountant

We are currently looking to recruit a management accountant, the main purpose of the role would be the preparation of month and year end management accounts, to accurately maintain all of the ledgers and to provide assistance in the administration of new contracts and off hires.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

*To raise new contracts and ensure accurate and timely invoicing
*To maintain access database that records all breakdowns so that unit history can be accurately analysed.
*Provide assistance in the administration and control of new contracts
*Provide assistance in the administration and control of unit off hires
*Provide assistance in the day to day management of the hire fleet
*To accurately process transactions on Insphire Software
*To liaise with engineers in order to resolve unit breakdowns
*Various other administrative tasks as and when required
*Register purchase invoices onto Sage
*Preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance
*Reconciliation of bank accounts
*Reconciliation of sales and purchase ledgers
*Preparation of fixed asset schedules and calculation of monthly depreciation charges
*Calculation of accruals and prepayments
*Reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts
*Posting of journals to nominal ledger
*Preparation of trial balance
*Analysis of overheads charged to P & L account
*Complete VAT Return for Accessible Companies

Skills/Experience Required:

*CIMA or ACCA qualified
*Experience in a similar role would be essential
*Knowledge of Sage
*PC Literate
