The Role: Maintenance Technician

Working Hours: Mon-Fri - up to 40 hours per week

Contract Length: Temporary 1 week

Rate of Pay: £19.00

Location: Sites throughout Manchester

·  Working as part of the dedicated on-site team to make sure the students who stay with us always feel at home

·  You will be ensuring that the location remains safe and always looking its best, by providing a high standard of repair and maintenance service

·  Undertake repair and maintenance tasks to a high quality including plumbing; joinery and carpentry; painting/decorating; replacement of lighting lamps/tubes and required statutory testing

·  Running weekly fire alarm and emergency lighting checks

·  Logging maintenance requests, H&S hazards and stock requests as required

What are we looking for?

·  People who are dedicated to working safely, and to the highest possible standard at all times

·  Experience in undertaking repairs and maintenance in a residential environment or experience in any of the following trades: building, plumbing or carpentry

·  Able to work in a safe and compliant manner

·  Flexible and able to work shifts between Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays

·  Always willing to go above and beyond to solve a problem
