World leading manufacturing organisation currently have a vacancy for an experienced maintenance scheduler to join our Technical Expertise and Support Team located in Barry. This role is to cover sickness for a minimum of 2-3 months and is a full time role 40 hours per week.

The role as a maintenance scheduler involves

·  Receiving work orders and checking for administrative completeness

·  Sets net capacity for the disciplines based on information about the related available labour

·  Assists in the update of the jobs to be included in the weekly schedule

·  Identifying resource requirements for scheduled jobs using job plans

·  Building the weekly schedule making the most effective and efficient use of available resource.

·  Initiates material movement for scheduled jobs

·  Identifying resource leveraging opportunities

·  Communicates with operations on scheduling status

·  Leads scheduling meetings

·  Monitors/reviews performance measures

The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record of maintenance scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

·  Must have experience in plant maintenance scheduling.

·  Have familiarity of scheduling in SAP and/or Primavera.

·  A working knowledge of Prometheus would be an advantage.

·  Be comfortable working within a complex industrial manufacturing environment.
