Very pleased to be working with a very reputable company based in Rotherham who are specialists in equipment and expertise for Industrial Gas, LNG, Hydrocarbons and Clean energy solutions. The company use world class engineering skills and knowledge to service, maintain and create turbines and pumps for gaseous exchange purposes all over the world. The role is paying a very attractive salary of £30 000 per annum for the right person and would involve learning their products and trade inside out by working on site in Rotherham and shadowing mentors. once the year of learning and development is complete the role would then involve travelling globally to plants and other businesses to service and maintain their equipment. Locations include but are not limited to France and Japan. for this amazing opportunity the company are looking for someone with technical skills and qualifications such as a HNC-HND in an engineering principle. And someone who has exceptional hand fitting skills and using tooling. A very good knowledge of plant machinery, plants and pumps is required for this role
The main responsibilities are :

To commission and repair machinery as directed by management. This will include but not be limited to cryogenic pumps air expansion turbines, compressors and the installation of new machinery, as appropriate, on customer sites.

To be available for travel in UK and overseas globally at short notice as directed

Rapid response to any equipment breakdown on customer sites to ensure that lost production is minimised.

To ensure at all times that work is completed in a safe manner, to high engineering standards, in compliance with customer standards and procedures and external procedures where appropriate.

To ensure that any customer contact is dealt with professionally and promptly in dealing with queries or incidents.

Preparing for maintenance and inspection as required by executing physical isolations and electrical isolations. Responsible for testing and re-starting equipment once maintenance is completed.

Resolving problems by rectifying defects and identifying opportunities that will enhance reliability.

Inspect and check machinery and related equipment as required. Diagnose faults on plant and machinery and provide customer feedback.

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Preparing, scoping and assisting in the costing of projects as required.

To make report, time sheet, mechanical and site checklist signed by the customer before leaving the site.

In addition the £30,000 annual salary there is a generous annual bonus, excellent pension, 26 days + Statuary holidays, All expenses paid for travelling, paid for travel time, team van to use for local business trips.
