Job Title: Logistics Customer Service Coordinator

Salary: £20,000 - £21,500 per annum (dependant on experience)

Start date: ASAP

Location: Milton Keynes

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Logistics Customer Service Coordinator to join our client based in Milton Keynes. This is a permanent opportunity paying between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum - dependant on experience.

The successful candidate will be working within a fast paced, customer focused environment where attention to detail is essential.

We are looking for a strong character, who can use their own initiative and think on their feet. We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated individual with proven ability to work efficiently and on their own within a fast paced working environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however is not essential.

Role Requirements / Responsibilities:

Using in-house system to monitor the outbound deliveries and returns on a daily basis

Resolving customer issues over the phone and via email

Receiving inbound calls from internal and external customers/suppliers

Resolving all queries in a polite, professional and prompt manner

Logging all issues relating to delivery

Taking ownership of issues from start to finish and ensuring process is followed

Communicate efficiently with all members of the logistics department to ensure a prompt resolution and customer expectations are adhered to at all times

The ideal candidate:

Experience within the transport/logistics industry

Previous role to be within a customer service centre

Confident and have the ability to think on your feet within a set timescale

Great communicator

Strong telephone manner

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Time management skills

Ability to prioritise workloads

Excellent attention to detail

Exceptional standards of customer service

Working hours : (Monday - Friday) 9am - 5pm
