Logistics and Procurement Administrator
Job Role:
Primarily responsible for the purchasing and logistics of all orders and administrating the delivery process for deliveries to site
Processing purchase orders and replenishing stock from suppliers
Negotiation of pricing with suppliers and compilation of pricing comparisons
Ensure that deliveries are received on time and in full
Manage company vehicles are up to date
Manage Plant and Equipment are up to date
Work with the team to implement the Company's policies and business objectives
Skills and Experience
Experience in a similar administrative role
Technical knowledge/background a positive
Good IT skills, particularly Excel
Excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively, a willingness to develop and learn new skills
Able to work under own initiative, be proactive and work efficiently as part of a team
Confident communicator
Willingness to work flexibly to meet business demands
Experience in Engineering is preferred but not essential
Experience with Access Dimensions is preferred but not essential
