My client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their European Service Team.
A second European Language is an advantage - Italian or German is preferred.
SAP and Lotus Notes experience preferred.
Purpose:
You will be the primary point of contact for the European field service teams with regard to parts that are shipped from their global facilities. Duties include a multitude of independent and diversified tasks to support the field service team. These include, but are not limited to: online order taking, parts expediting, backlog/ alert management and inventory reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter parts orders into SAP - During order entry you will determine accuracy of information, inventory availability, shipment information and order priority.
- Monitor all back-orders to ensure the quickest possible fulfilment.
- Continual communication with engineers with regard to order / shipment status.
- Enter purchase requisitions and create purchase orders.
- Prepare documentation for non-SAP shipments for the service team.
- Administration tasks.
This is initially a temporary position until the end of September, however, for the right candidate this could be extended and/ or go permanent.
