Our client is a well known Construction & Refurbishment company who are looking to recruit a Carpenter / Joiner to carry out Repair work & Maintenance work on Housing Properties in the North Tyneside area Purpose of the role:

To repair & maintain housing and restore properties to a suitable standard.

Main tasks & duties will include:

* Responsive & reactive maintenance repairs

* Re-fixing door frames * Mending window frames

* Repairing & mending broken floorboards & flooring

* Fixing & replacing kitchen cupboard doors

* Hanging internal doors & fixing front doors to housing properties

* General refurbishment carpentry work

Working hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with overtime available

You will need the following Qualifications / Certificates:

* Carpentry & Joinery City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 training or equivalent

* Valid CSCS card

You will be expected to have your own basic hand tools as well as basic PPE
