The Role:
We are looking for an IT Support Technician to be based in our factory in Cramlington. The primary focus of this role is to support both the factory and sales teams with the provision and maintenance of our IT systems including (but not limited to) client machine hardware, printers, databases and licencing of software. Running Microsoft Systems through Citrix with Office 365 deployed, we hold outside support contracts so an ability to clearly define and relay issues and then competently apply solutions is important.
*Provide effective and reliable IT systems to the business.
*Documenting procedures and processes.
*Logging calls and looking for common issues and applying solutions
*Basic maintenance of IT equipment.
*Management of third party suppliers eg outside IT Support, ERP support etc.
*Report Writing.
*ERP System Management and Change Control.

The Candidate:
*Degree qualified in IT or equivalent (HNC/HND or Microsoft Certified Professional or CompTIA)
*Minimum 12 months experience in a manufacturing industry.
*Good communication skills.
*Excellent problem solving skills.
*Organised and flexible approach to working.
*Looking to learn new skills.
*Team Player

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm Mon - Fri. Flexibility is important due to US locations and updates run out of working hours
Location: Based in Cramlington with occasional travel to London.
Salary: Up to £25k per annum dependent on experience.
25 days paid holiday per annum.
