Experienced Insurance Technician (Motor & Commercial)

Salary £17,000 - £22,000 (dependant on experience).

Adecco Cheltenham are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of our Cheltenham based client in their search for an Experienced Technician to join their team of 9 on a Permanent basis.

Our client operates predominantly in commercial insurance policies on a national and international basis across a multitude of sectors. The successful candidate will have solid experience in handling commercial claims mainly focusing on motor and commercial insurance including public liability and employers liability.

Duties within the role include:

·  Accurate entry of data uploaded to the system.

·  To upload and submit relevant documentation within agreed time frames.

·  Monitor and update computer bases when necessary.

·  able to process claims efficiently

·  handling a high volume of calls from customers regarding their claims

·  General enquires to be dealt with through telephone, email or letter.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications Required:

·  Previous experience within insurance is essential.

·  A strong working knowledge UK SME and Motor Trade insurance sectors

·  Relevant insurance-based qualification would give candidates a distinct advantage, although this is not required for the role.

·  Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

·  Able to prioritise workload when working with high volumes

·  Strong oral and written communication skills

·  Competent use of Microsoft office

·  Excellent communication skills as high volume of telephone calls
