HOUSING ALLOCATIONS OFFICER
BROMLEY
MONDAY- FRIDAY 9AM-5PM
3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT
£13.83 HOURLY RATE
ASAP START
Main duties:
· Ensure that suitable nominations to social, private sector, traveller site pitches, temporary and supported housing are made within the appropriate timescales and in accordance with legislative requirements
· Ensure that statistics, records and files relating to the Section's activities are accurate and up to date
· Operate in a positive, customer focused manner
· Upload property details onto the Bromley Homeseekers website ensuring that adverts are accurate
· Ensure effective use of long term housing, making sure that long term placements are occupied and that nominations are made promptly
· Carry out joint home and site visits as required
· Write and present good quality reports on aspects of the day-to-day work of the Section or on individual cases and give evidence in Court as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience of Working within a housing environment
· Experience of Data monitoring and report writing
· A knowledge of one or more of the following Homelessness, Temporary Accommodation, Private Rented Accommodation and Allocations/Nominations systems.
· Good knowledge of all IT packages/ systems
· Ability to provide excellent customer service skills
