HELP DESK ADVISOR

The Role

·  Customer Service role; someone who is able to communicate confidently over the phone

·  It is essential that the Helpdesk Team have the correct level of resource to continue to meet the agreed SLA's for Dealer and Brand enquiries.

·  Historic performance shows that if the Helpdesk is under resourced, the quality of service provided, and enquiry response time can be detrimental on the Teams results.

·  4 members of staff appears to be the optimal resource to the continuous good level of service our customers require.

·  The impact of the jobholder on operational results can be significant as provision of information that is incorrect or untimely can have a detrimental effect on customer satisfaction, and in turn, the Group's volume, market share and profit levels.

·  This is a customer-facing role, with the principal contacts being members of the Sales teams in the Citroen, Peugeot and DS Dealer Networks, and staff at GEFCO 3PL and 4PL Centres. There are a number of internal contacts outside of the PLD team, notably Brand Sales Support, Zone Sales Managers, Fleet Managers and Heads of Regional Operations.

·  A busy office environment with a constant flow of incoming and outgoing enquiries - via phone, CONNECT-D - and regular, routine administrative tasks.

·  The Help-Desk Supervisor will provide direction, but it is expected that the jobholder will work without supervision, and within the framework of agreed policies and procedures. They will demonstrate great attention to detail and a desire to meet/exceed performance targets (response rate timings and quality levels).

·  The nature of the role requires confidentiality and integrity in the handling of information and documentation. Excellent time management and communication skills are a pre-requisite, as is a drive to achieve results and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction

The Candidate

·  Educated to at least GCSE standard (English & Mathematics). Previous experience of using mainframe systems is desirable, and experience of using MS Office packages (esp Excel) is essential.

·  Previous experience within the automotive industry or a service industry is an advantage.

·  Highly organised, analytical and creative.

·  A proactive individual who is an articulate and confident communicator.

·  Results-driven and customer-focused.

·  A team player that brings a "can do" attitude to the role.

·  Ability to assess situations objectively and solve problems using initiative.
