Adecco Public Sector are currently working with a large University in the North West who are searching for a Head of School Finance (Senior Finance Business Partner) to join their busy team.

This is an exciting position within a Faculty/Directorate of globally recognised Russel Group University.

This position will business partner for a variety of schools, providing operational and strategic support on all financial matters. Responsible for managing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting process alongside analysis of performance to assist budget holders.

Successful candidates will have -

·  A proven ability to lead, manage, develop and motivate a professional team

·  Significant relevant experience in a senior financial leadership role in a large, complex organisation

·  Significant experience of working in an accounts preparation role with strong analytic skills and delivering an exceptional customer service to stakeholders

·  Experience supporting senior leaders in strategic planning

·  Experience preparing and evaluating business appraisals

·  Experience of successfully managing change in a large organisation

·  Excellent financial analysis and interpretive skills

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Experience making a positive effect, effective changes and obtain results against a background of challenging change

·  Commitment to company values
