Adecco Cheltenham are delighted to be recruiting for a Graduate PR Account Executive on behalf of our Cheltenham based client. Our client is an established PR agency who operate within the B2B sector. Our client is a highly professional and successful agency, so this will be a busy and involving role! No previous experience required: our client is looking for raw potential and a genuine passion for PR and current affairs!

Duties will include:

·  Liaising with clients across a range of industries.

·  Writing press releases and features to an extremely high standard.

·  Liaising with the media and developing positive relationships.

·  Organising meetings.

·  Carrying out research to include involvement with political engagement.

·  Using your persuasive skills to 'sell in' press releases to the media.

·  Handling enquiries via telephone and email.

·  Completing administrative tasks.

·  Organising press events and attending exhibitions.

·  Consulting with your clientele concerning briefs.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

·  At least a 2:1 classification degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.

·  An ambition for a career within PR.

·  A keen interest in current affairs and government legislation is essential.

·  Hardworking and keen to climb the career ladder.

·  Excellent writing skills and a flair for communication is essential.

·  Excellent spoken communication skills both face to face and via the phone: our client is looking for a personable individual who can adapt their approach for each of their clients.

·  Full of ideas and feedback alongside business acumen.

In return our client can offer a competitive starting salary Circa £18,000 (for graduates who can offer previous PR work experience the salary could be flexible). In addition, our client conducts salary reviews and can offer the opportunity to progress to Account Management and Account Directing. Additional benefits are available, including 30 days annual leave entitlement. Working hours are 9am-5.30pm, and overtime will be required dependant on business needs due to the demanding nature of the industry.
