I am recruiting for a Global Finance Analyst for a major FMCG brand. The Information Services department is a global division and is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving the IT Services that support the business processes. This role sits within the Global Delivery Team who strive to enable and support the execution of role model project delivery.

THE JOB

This is a cross-segment role across the department with accountability within the Global Delivery (Development and Deployment) organisation reporting into the Service Delivery Team. At team level you will carry out tasks to support the financial activities and processes for the Global Delivery Team. You'll support the Planning Managers in Delivery to execute the financial related tasks and give the right visibility on the financial health of the team. You will also partner with the Delivery S&F co-pilot to ensure consistency across the regions and produce necessary reporting.

Key responsibilities :

·  Manage the Periodical Finance End Tasks for Delivery

·  Prepare and put in the accruals for 3rd parties contracts, by following the accrual schedule put in place by S&F, using SAP Park & Post

·  Prepare and put in the expense x-charges for associates & 3rd parties, using SAP Park & Post

·  Report on CC's numbers after closure to Planning Managers, by using SAP

·  Report on Suspense account entries from CAPPM

·  Extract of resource pool time sheets from CAPPM

·  Support the 3rd parties Purchase Orders Quality Check with the Planning Managers on a quarterly basis

·  Supports the 3rd parties Change Orders on Purchase Orders Quality Check with the Planning Managers

·  Support the production of reports on a periodic basis

·  Performs 3rd party invoices analysis and comparison with time entries to outline the gaps to the Planning Managers and S&F Co-Pilot

·  Supports the yearly rate card inputs preparation for the Planning Managers

·  Seeks, collates and prioritises insights and recommends actions or projects to further the Delivery team's capability

·  Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (CA PPM) tool for financial reporting

·  Utilizes SAP system for the usual financial tasks

·  Escalates issues and risks to the Planning Managers and/or the Delivery S&F Co-Pilot

·  Supports user training activities

·  Supports any tool new enhancement

To do this role you'll need :

·  To be highly structured, organised, motivated

·  To be comfortable to work in a Global environment

·  To be comfortable with working with ambiguity and in an evolving organisation

·  Have strong analytical and Excel skills

·  Previous Finance experience is preferred

Travel requirements

The role may require occasional travel to other hub sites within Europe.
