Primary responsibilities of the role:
- Operate all Mechanical Handling Equipment and use the Remote Data Terminal to put goods away and pick all order types
- Ensure a smooth flow of materials from Goods In to the stock holding aisle
- Receive finished goods, correct anomalies and communicate to the relevant departments
- Highlight appropriate issues and complete shift handover accurately and on time.
- Follow procedures for: manual handling VDU use and material handling (COSHH). Wears appropriate P.P.E
- Ensure weekly cycle count tasks are completed in a timely manner
Required Qualifications or Experience:
- Secondary School qualification required, additional education or certificates beneficial
- Experience in Production for an FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food or Paint business is preferred
- Good knowledge of logistics and stock control and working in a Warehouse environment
- Comprehensive understanding of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety standards and policy and correct use of PPE
- Be able to work effectively in a team and be a logical problem solver
- Be results focused and take a rigorous approach to work to deliver on targets
- Independent right to live and work in the UK (unrestricted)

Weekends: Early/Late/Nights
