Job Title: Freedom of Information Support Officer
Location: Trafford
Contract Details: Temporary (one month)
Salary: £13.98 per hour
Responsibilities:
· Monitor and respond to Freedom of Information requests within prescribed statutory timescales
· Facilitate and process Adults Data Subject Access Requests
· Provide general administrative support to the Social Care Teams
· Produce statistical information to contribute to senior management quality monitoring and performance reports
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
· GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
· Evidence of continued professional development
· Minimum 12 months of relevant experience
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Understanding of the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act
· Familiarity with Social and Health Care functions and Education Services
· Ability to work well in a team and independently
· Excellent customer service skills with an empathetic and patient approach
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
· Experience in coordinating resources and organising meetings
· Familiarity with diary management, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
· Knowledge of various computer software packages and systems
