My client based in Northumberland are looking for an experienced Forecast Analyst to join their business. This position is a Permanent Opportunity for the right candidate to work for a very successful business with fantastic opportunities and benefits.

Job summary:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the postholder is responsible for providing the sales demand for a rolling 18 to 24-month period. This involves communicating with sales and marketing organisations, managing the SAP/ APO/ BI forecasting module, and gathering any other inputs to be built into the forecast plan. The role also involves preparing various reports on demand and sales.

Essential Job Function:

·  Communicating with the sales team to obtain forecast feedback on a regular basis.

·  Analysing feedback, running statistical forecasting on historical demand, aggregating all data and making decisions to build a bottom-up forecast.

·  Loading, maintaining and updating this forecast in SAP.

·  Generating forecast accuracy/valuation reports on a monthly basis.

·  Analysing gaps on accuracy and taking appropriate corrective actions.

·  Preparing demand reviews and participating in demand review meetings.

·  Issuing various reports and analysis on past and future demand.

·  Acting as a key interface between sales, marketing, finance and supply chain co-workers.

·  Managing end of life items with the supply chain team.

·  Managing the introduction of new items with the brand managers and supply chain team.

Job Requirements

·  A minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role, or administration experience is essential.

·  A good standard of education, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

·  Excellent IT skills are required, particularly in SAP, APO and Excel.

·  Highly organised, with strong planning skills and the ability to get things done within tight deadlines.

·  Excellent analytical skills are required, with an eye for detail and accuracy.

·  Strong creativity and innovation skills.

·  Experience of working with a similar data analysis role would also be an advantage.
