Our client is looking for a Fabricator/Fitter to work within their production environment. The client is well established and looking for assistance due to workload. They need someone who has previous experience within this environment. The role is based in Newbury and paying £12 to £14 an hour.
Duties and responsibilities include:
· Able to work from drawings
· Welding and tacking of steel sections and plates from 3mm-12mm
· Fabrication and marking out skills
· Drilling, cutting & machining skills
· Able to work to instructions, unsupervised
· Overhead crane usage an advantage
· Fork lift truck operator an advantage
· General tool skills for use with powered tools and cutting machinery.
· Working to set criteria
