£15.08 PER HOUR
Adecco are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to work within a Local Authority based in Ealing.
The Finance Officer duties as follows;
· To assist in the monthly reconciliation of income and expenditure under Temporary Accommodation Schemes
· To assist in developing and maintaining a financial support service for the Central Systems & Finance Manager & Housing Demand Finance Officer that is responsive and focused on service delivery
· To provide statistical and reporting data regarding the monthly reconciliation including private sector payments to suppliers
· To take lead responsibility for reporting data regarding the income and expense generated form temporary accommodation.
· To Interrogate financial systems including Agresso web and back office and prepare excel spreadsheets in order to undertake monthly and end of year accruals & reconciliation to be reported and agreed with corporate finance management
· To obtain collate monitor, retain and provide regular statistical and financial information pertaining to the monthly reconciliation process.
· To provide support and cover in absence of the finance officer in housing demand
· To undertake the relevant training to assist with the Central Systems Finance Manager & Finance Officer
· To undertake other duties at a similar level of responsibility as may be required from time to time
Essential experience, knowledge, skills & abilities
· Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths and English)
· Good excel skills- Intermediate/ advanced levels
· Ability to produce clear reports using standard IT packages including the effective presentation of numerical information
· Use of financial management systems
· Ability to manage multi project priorities within set deadlines
· Ability to prepare, present and communicate data
