FINANCE ASSISTANT

Adecco Harrow has a great opportunity to join a well established company based in North Wembley. Our client is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team on a 3 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of this being extended. Paying £20,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience and starting ASAP.

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000
Hours: 08:00 -17:00
Days: Monday - Friday
Location: Wembley
3 month FTC with possible extension.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Raise and post sales orders daily
* Liaise with customers for order confirmations and payments
* Monitor customer credit limits
* Manage PO requests, to issue numbers, obtain approvals and update the PO spread sheet
* Chase and post purchase invoices
* Manage supplier statements
* Manage the Accounts inbox, filing emails and keeping it up to date
* Update the TBD spread sheet
* EC sales and Intrastat
* Stock count collection
* Drop shipping
* Procurement/administration distribution
* Credit card distribution
* Debtors and Creditors review
* Sorting post, filing and photocopying
* Be an excellent communicator
* Daily sales reporting
* Ordering of stationery
* Other ad hoc duties as required

Experience

* Proven experience of working with Orderwise or any other ERP system
* Proven experience of working within a busy, fast pace Finance Department
* Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
* Experience of preparing batches and scanning of all finance documents on a weekly basis
* Proven experience of working with Sage
* Experience of matching invoices to purchase orders as well as seeking authorisation of invoices
* Monitoring invoices and suppliers to achieve maximum value for money
