We are looking for an Executive Assistant to work with one our corporate law enforcement organistions. Due to the nature of the booking you will need to go through stringent vetting unless you are already SC cleared. The vetting can take up to 4 weeks. You will be based in their London offices. Pay £12.93 there is no negotiation on this.

You will provide a comprehensive Executive Assistant (EA) and administrative support service to the Chief Capability Officer (CCO) to enable them to undertake their duties efficiently and effectively. To meet the demands of this role, you will be resourceful and have excellent planning and organisation skills. You must be a clear and confident communicator in writing, in person and over the phone and be able to exercise discretion due to the sensitive nature of the issues on which you will be sighted, on a daily basis. Experience of drafting and taking minutes is desirable

·  Providing full EA support, including diary management - making appointments and maintaining the CCO's diary. Managing their email inbox - dealing with incoming emails to ensure that tasks are prioritised and dealt with in a timely manner. Where appropriate, preparing responses or taking forward actions from emails on their behalf.

·  Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the CCO's day to day activities.

·  Dealing with incoming correspondence and screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests - managing them where appropriate.

·  Managing access to the CCO to ensure their time is used appropriately.

·  Facilitating the interaction between the CCO and Case Controllers, Case Teams, other HoDs, General Counsel and Private Office to identify and resolve day-to-day casework issues.

·  Arranging travel and accommodation, ensuring that the CCO has all the necessary details for travel.

Essential

·  Good oral and written communication skills and numeracy

·  Proactive with an ability to work on own initiative, with minimal supervision

·  Able to prioritise own workload and manage a variety of tasks in a timely manner

·  Strong diplomatic skills, with the ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential/sensitive matters

·  Good planning and organisational skills

·  Experience of providing secretarial support to management

·  Diary management experience - confident in the use of MS Outlook including working with calendars and arranging meetings/appointments

·  Effective use of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable

·  An understanding of the Criminal Justice System

·  Experience of drafting and taking minutes
