Adecco have a fantastic new opportunity to join a well-established prestigious company based in Thatcham. Our client is looking for an Entry Level Business Manager on a permanent basis. Working hours are Monday to Friday normal office hours. Starting ASAP with a salary range of £28,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

To provide sales support to customers / market places.

·  To provide administration support to Business Managers to successfully deliver projects within the Commercial Department, in order to achieve departmental strategic and sales objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Working with Business Managers to provide support in the management of strong working relationships with new and existing customers, at all levels.

·  To process and manage customer orders including providing customer communications.

·  Working with Business Managers, assist in the management of customer projects throughout the business in a co-ordinated, focused, structured and well controlled manner, using the designated tools and processes. This will include:

·  Timely order processing and issue of associated paperwork to include quality documentation.

·  Co-ordination of engineering, manufacturing and purchasing involvement in customer projects.

·  Providing relevant commercial input into the creation and maintenance of Project plans.

·  Progress reporting on the project, both internal and external

·  Risk and Issue management

·  Management of our pipeline planning and stock levels where applicable

·  Provide cover during holiday periods for co-workers

·  To answer customer enquiries.

·  To provide quotations and proposals in a structured and timely manner, following the departmental systems.

·  To build and develop relationships internally with other members of the Project Team, Manufacturing Project Managers, Design & Engineering, Quality and Purchasing divisions.

·  To liaise with the Stores department to dispatch assemblies and components, to include the method of dispatch, ensuring customer charges if applicable.

·  To liaise with the Accounts Department and the Customer to ensure that the account is kept up to date, and within agreed credit limits.

·  Manage circulation of customer technical documentation including parts and price lists, manuals, technical bulletins and assembly drawings, where appropriate.

·  As required to work with quality and IT teams to develop systems and processes in order to support continuous improvement practices.

·  To attend annual Performance Management and Review Meetings and agree annual objectives and a Personal Development Plan (PDP).

·  To support departmental meetings and the development of department.

·  To observe the Health and Safety rules at all times.

·  To follow the company Quality procedures at all times.

·  To carry out any reasonable additional duties as requested by management.

Essential Education & Knowledge

·  Educated a minimum of A level or equivalent e.g.: Apprenticeship with at least ONC.

·  Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

·  Knowledge of business operating systems i.e ERP/MRP
