Our client are a well established and growing manufacturing organisation who are seeking someone to join their Production Engineering Team.

The role will involve assembly of the companies machinery but will also include involvement in all aspects of the production operation, duties will include:

Mechanical fitting, electrical wiring, testing of machines, assisting with logistics and planning. There will also be the added opportunity of visiting customer sites. You will be working within the operations team at our offices in Basingstoke, where you will see projects through from start to finish. You will need to be flexible in your approach, with an eye for detail, understand the importance for standardised procedures and have a desire for problem solving, and
identifying and implementing improvements.

Experience in an engineering environment is essential, and an ability to use
hand tools and interpret technical drawings is essential.

Responsibilities

� Assembly and testing of machinery and parts
� Completing final pre-delivery inspections of machines to QA procedures
� Support the operations team as required
� Investigating and resolving queries with the Engineering team
� Improving product design and assembly techniques with the Engineering and R&D teams
� Liaising with internal and external staff
� Manage a daily task routine to agreed times

The following requirements are essential:

� Relevant industrial engineering experience is essential
� Aspirational to progress and grow within the organisation
� Knowledge of the Process and/or Engineering industry
� Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
� Ability to manage and prioritise workload
� Be able to work independently and efficiently
� Clean driving license as the role may involve occasional customer site visits

The role will offer a competitive salary of between £22-24'000 plus benefits
