Adecco have an opportunity for an Engineering Inspector to join our Ayrshire based client. The contract length is 3-6 months however, may go permanent for the right candidate.
Shifts will alter between Day Shift and Back Shift each week.
The hourly rate will be £15.40 with an opportunity for overtime.
Primary Responsibilities
· Inspection, Testing, Repair and Assembly of wire harnesses
· Working to manufacturers specifications/blueprints/schematics and manuals
· Diagnostics and trouble-shooting faults
· Compilation of Inspection/Repair Reports
· Experience in the use of heat shrink materials
You must be able to demonstrate competence to do the role demonstrated through a solid background in repair and maintenance, ideally within the aerospace, automotive or other repair and maintenance businesses.
You will also require to hold relevant trade papers or transferable qualifications related to your trade, ie SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Training will be provided for candidates with suitable transferable skills . Additional advantageous requirements as follows:
Person/Role Requirements:
· Good communication skills, written and verbal
· Knowledge of Aircraft technical manuals and drawings (desirable)
· The ability to work on own initiative
· A pro-active and self-motivated attitude
· Computer literacy
· Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
