Day to Day duties may include but are not limited too:
· Delivering equipment
· Installing equipment
· Collecting Equipment
· Carrying out risk assessments/ adapting to fit customers needs
· Being aware of needs for users regarding disability
· cleaning community equipment
· repair equipment
· reporting any problems to higher management
YouMUSThave a full clean UK driving licence
Knowledge of the effects of disability and health issues on daily life
Knowledge of basic DIY processes
Good level of reading and writing
Ideally knowledge and experience of working with elderly/ vulnerable people
Experience of using power tools for basic DIY procedures
Good With measurements
Ideal Experience of carrying out PAT testing on electoral items.
There may be times you may see upsetting things/ upset family members. You will be attending people homes once they have returned home, they could be unwell and also could be unable to communicate. You MUST have the strength to continue carrying out your duties even if you may witness a upsetting situation.
