We have an exiting oportunity for a candiate that has passion for organization and can lead a team by example.

You will supervise the operational day to day delivery of cleaning services within the domestic & deep clean teams in an effective, efficient and safe manner and to ensure that all Trust procedures and policies are followed.

The Supervisor will provide a central point for domestic and deep clean staff when reporting for allocation of daily duties

Job Purpose:

To provide operational leadership to the domestic & deep clean teams.

To ensure that standards are achieved in line with infection control requirements; providing and maintaining an effective, clean and healthy patient focused environment.

To work with the infection control teams in the delivery of service.

To ensure domestic & deep clean teams work in such a way as to provide a seamless cleaning service to the Trust including reactivity response team capability.

To ensure all cleaning services are provided in the most efficient manner whilst ensuring national standards and best practice are adhered to at all times.

To support deputy support service managers as required within the range of skills and competency levels appropriate to the role.

Main Duties

Ensure the delivery of services in accordance with service specifications, national cleaning standards and best practice guides.

Provide support and team leadership to operational domestic and deep clean staff ensuring performance and service outcomes are maintained.

In conjunction with other supervisors, provide a rapid response service including emergency cleans.

Ensure sufficient numbers of staff are available to deliver quality and timely domestic & deep clean services on a daily basis.

Undertake surveys/audits as necessary to manage performance, ensure task actions are completed and progressed in a timely manner.

Work with deputy support service managers to ensure all training requirements for the domestics and deep clean teams are planned and delivered in a manner to ensure training requirements meet both the needs of the service and maintain training compliance.

Organise stock control, consumables and other departmental order requirements.

Undertake toolbox talks and provide information on Domestic Services when required.
