Summary:
Reporting directly to the Domestic Manager, this role will support the operations function and assist with ensuring that all customer freight is shipped on time.
The main responsibilities for this role include strong customer service, dealing with booking confirmations and general admin duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:

*To support the Domestic team with administration and operational day to day service to our customers
*Ensure all jobs are entered correctly in the Stirling system
*To process all purchase orders for current customers and verify that all details required for processing are properly presented
*Assist with the operational day to day delivery needs of our customers in the most cost efficient and effective manner
*Maintain open communication with customers advising them at all time as to the status of their orders and delivery of their goods
*To be the primary point contact for customers and responsible for resolving any customer queries in a timely manner
*Complete invoicing weekly reports for internal purposes
*To complete any reasonable other tasks, duties and projects that may arise
*To promote a safe working environment for all
*To ensure there is full engagement with training and that there is full conformance with training methods as presented
*To support the development & implementation of initiatives that will enhance the overall efficient operation of the domestic and operations function.
Qualifications:

*Previous experience in the transport industry would be beneficial
*At least 1 -2 year's customer service experience would essential

*Excellent phone manner
*Excellent administration skills
*Good attention to detail
*Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances is a must

*Good Microsoft Office Skills in particular excel.
