Cheshire Constabulary are currently recruiting for a Distribution Assistant to support the force in the quick and effective movement of post and packages around the force area.

This role requires a driving licence, van licence and ideally and FLT licence as you will be loading and unloading goods, and using a force vehicle to drive around the area.

You will be responsible for the picking, packing and delivery of post and packages (including uniform, specialist kit and other equipment) across the force area. You will be responsible for the franking and collection of post, and movement of internal mail.

You will also take responsibility of the movement of sensitive materials including forensic evidence within Cheshire and around the country if required.

This role is subject to a background check.
