To receive and process incoming orders and provide information to customers as required
To perform all duties in accordance with the company Health & Safety and Quality policy procedures.
There may be additional activities to perform from time to time in order to maximise the contribution to the company's goals and objectives.
· Process orders and returns in an accurate and efficient manner
· Answer telephone queries courteously and professionally
· Maintain excellent customer relations via the telephone & email
· Inform customers by email or telephone of order information, such as unit process, delivery dates, price and any anticipated delays
· Receive and respond to customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
· Maintain up-to-date customer information such as contact details, past order history, product number and/or specification of items to be purchased
· Have a sound level of product knowledge to advise customers
· Effective time management, prioritising and multi-tasking to achieve KPIs/targets
· Organise workload to meet the needs of the customers and team
· Work closely with Account Managers and sales team to help manage customers and stockists in regions
· Work closely with the team, creating effective communication channels with all clients stakeholders, including purchasing, credit control and other sales team
· Advising Warehouse as and when there are special instructions for customers' orders or despatch details
· Ensure all sales orders are processed accurately and within defined timescales - checking and validating information on the order
· Ensure effective/accurate population of central sales database with orders, contact details and other key points of information
· Filing all data input in an organised manner
· Production of weekly sales and other reports as and when requested by the CSM
· Maintaining accurate and organised client records
· Customer Services experience
· Data processing (speed and accuracy)
· Excellent telephone manner
