Location: Harlow (Pinnacles)

Position: Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £9.36 per hour

Type: Temporary ongoing (3 months initially)

Hours: 08:00am - 5:00pm or 09:00am - 6.00pm, Monday - Friday

Adecco are currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to work within a call centre environment for a well established, national business. This is a 3 month temporary position which will be based in a modern, busy office of over 20 staff, paying the equivalent of £18,000 - £19,000 per annum on a full time basis. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide information and advise customers on the products and services including prices and availability whilst maintaining a high level of customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for responding to customer orders and proactively managing account issues.

Key Accountabilities

Communicating with customers via telephone and email on a daily basis.

Ensuring that you provide the best support and are accommodating the customers with their queries to the best of your ability.

Demonstrate a good understanding of all products and services the client provides in order to relay this information to inbound contact.

Identify any issues and take responsibility to ensure all queries are resolved.

Liaise with other company departments to resolve customer issues.

Providing technical assistance when required.

General administrative duties as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

Applicants will be considered from a telesales, call centre, customer service and administrative background.

Proven experience within a customer service based role in an office or retail based environment.

Confident in building relationships and rapport with customers via telephone.

The ability to work effectively under pressure and on your own initiative.

Receive feedback in a positive manner and demonstrate positive attitude at all times.

Good written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of internal systems/databases would be highly advantageous.
