Adecco are recruiting for a inbound customer service representative on behalf of our client based in Preston.

Role: Inbound Customer service
Hours: 9am - 5pm*, Mon- Fri with 2 Saturday mornings per month paid at time and a half.
Location: Preston PR5
Salary: up to £16K (+£300-500 commission per month)

Job Purpose
To maximise sales performance whilst providing effective customer service by handling calls, providing quotations, closing sales and facilitating customer enquiries.

Accountability's and Main Responsibilities of Job

*Effectively handle all inbound calls, to maximise sales performance and retention targets through the provision of effective and efficient communication and negotiation skills.
*Provide the customer with relevant product information that is clear, fair and not misleading allowing them to make an informed decision.
*Utilise all relevant information to maximise opportunities to cross sell and up sell products.
*Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with all colleagues and customers, promoting a professional business image.
*Develop and maintain a competent level of technical, product and system knowledge to support sales.
*Deliver individual quantitative targets, adhering to quality and accuracy standards.
*Contribute to the achievement of team and operational targets.
*Operate within own area of accountability, proactively escalating issues and seeking guidance.
*Understand and apply all company policies and procedures to ensure service standards are met in accordance with requirements.
*Understand business issues and recommend solutions to improve.
*Understand and apply all legal, regulatory, information security and compliance requirements and report any breaches when identified.
*Provide support and guidance to others as required.

Job related experience, qualifications and skills

Essential
*Strong team player.
*Results orientated.
*Effective communicator.
*Works on own initiative.
*Experience of working in a customer service environment via telephone.
*Previous sales experience via telephone.

* Contracted to work 8am-8pm as you may be required to cover any overtime requirements
