Customer Service Advisor
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location - Ipswich
Contract length: 3 Months
About the Role: Do you want to earn money for the festive season and are you able to efficiently handle queries through various communication channels? If so, this job could be for you! Adecco is looking for an experienced and driven Customer Service Advisor for our high-end utilities client, the UK's largest source of renewable electricity.

General Duties:
· Customer Retention Rates : Maintain a high percentage of customer retention.
· Response Times : Respond to customer queries within 24 hours.
· Accuracy of Invoices : Ensure invoices are accurate and sent out promptly.
· Payment Collection : Collect outstanding payments within agreed terms.
· Query Resolution : Resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
· Compliance : Adhere to complaint handling standards, data protection, and other company policies.
· Service Level Agreements (SLAs) : Meet or exceed the service levels agreed upon with customers.
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
· Experience in a customer-oriented environment and a proactive approach to exceeding customer expectations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a calm and confident telephone manner.
· Ability to manage a busy workload with competing and changing priorities, and to be well-organised and proactive.
· Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
· Innovative thinking to create imaginative solutions and the ability to challenge the status quo when necessary.
· Ability to build strong, effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, and to work well as part of a team.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Ensure accuracy in tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and reconciliation.
· Understand and adhere to complaint handling standards, data protection, and other company policies.
Desirable Skills:
· Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
· Able to type 80 words per minute.
