Operate a small credit control operation including providing monthly statements, communicating overdue payments and liaising with other departments within the company in relation to customers who are not within their agreed payment terms

·  Ownership and maintenance of;

·  the Accounts Receivable ledger

·  the Accounts Payable Ledger

·  the General Ledger

·  Assist the Finance Manager with;

·  monthly Payroll Requirements

·  Head Office reporting requirements

·  budgeting and forecasting

·  Processing and checking of employee expenses

·  Reconciliation ofpayables and receivables

·  Managing and reconciling;

·  Banking

·  Petty cash transactions

·  Payables and receivables

·  Assisting with weekly sales reporting

·  Treasury duties in relation to the preparation of payment of creditors (Weekly)

·  Ensure the VAT Return is filed in accordance with HMRC requirements (Monthly)

·  Communicating with customers in relation to invoices, payments and carriage.

·  In busy periods and to cover sickness or annual leave assist with sales invoicing and processing.

·  Assisting the order processing team

·  Raising credit notes and investigate and authorise complaints

·  Assist with Statutory requirements, that being EC Sales Reports, Intrastat and VAT Returns

·  Ownership of, updating and maintaining the customer price book

·  Management of Utilities contracts

·  Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Finance Manager
