We are currently looking to recruit a packing room operator to work on an ongoing temporary contract.

Applicants will ideally have counterbalance forklift truck license

Working hours/ working days:

Week one - Monday, Tuesday Wednesday 6am - 6pm then Thursday, Friday off then Saturday, Sunday 6pm - 6am = 60 hours

Week two - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday off then Thursday, Friday 6am - 6pm then Saturday, Sunday off = 24 hours

Week three - Monday, Tuesday Wednesday 6pm - 6am then Thursday, Friday off then Saturday Sunday 6am - 6pm = 60 hours

Week four - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday off then Thursday, Friday 6pm - 6am then Saturday, Sunday off = 24 hours

Average of 42 hours per week on the above rolling contract days/ nights 6-6

Starting salary of circa £26,000 per annum.

Brief description of role:-

Duties to include Preparation, stock control and dispatch of products as required. Responsibilities are:

·  To mill, blend and pack powder to produce final product

·  To carry out stock checks

·  To maintain all stock records

·  To ensure all tasks are completed as per work instructions

·  To achieve targeted KPI' s

·  Complying with weight and measure standards

·  Process batching and emptying spray drier

EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE

Academic qualifications

·  Basic maths and English

·  Numerate

·  Literate

·  Manual dexterity

Experience(essential background required)

Applicants will ideally hold a current valid counterbalance forklift license or have experience of using a counterbalance forklift truck.

·  Dispatch

·  Stock control

·  Hygiene - work experience in food factory would be beneficial.
