Commercial Support Executive

My client, a large global FMCG organisation based in Waltham on the Wolds, Leicestershire is looking for 2 Commercial Support Executives for a minimum 6 month contract. You must enjoy working in a multi-discipline team, have a positive and constructive approach to conflict and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop within a highly renowned and unique business. This role starts in ASAP via Adecco and will be 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate is £13.03 per hour. Due to the location of the role, you must have your own transportation.

The Role

The core purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of the administrative process for the customers in the business unit and supporting the Customer Development Managers in achieving strategic & annual targets within the business unit. Support will include Pricing / Invoices / Ledger / Promotional forms/ New Line Forms, and Mercury (new lines, annual discounts, event management) You will provide commercial administration support across a number of customers within a defined channel / business unit. Support the Customer Development Managers (CDMs) with relevant data and information to enable them to optimize the company's performance with their Customer. Develop lean and effective tools and processes to deliver 'right first time' administration and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

INVOICING MANAGEMENT
*Responsible for managing the customer ledger
*Responsibility for managing customer invoices - approving and speaking to customer contacts, AR and CDM
*Completion of invoice tracker and responsible for chasing customers for any missing invoices
*Dealing with all customer price queries, invoice issues and retro payments
*Aid CDMs with preparation for input into budget Star Chambers and other reviews
PRICE FILE MANAGEMENT
*Updating customer White Sheets once a quarter or after any price or VAT changes
*Updating Mercury with any price changes or new pricing details
*Complete customer new pricing forms when necessary (pricing provided by CDM)
FORECAST ACCURACY
*Work with CDM to agree and implement any necessary volume plan changes in Mercury
*Support discussions with CDM and Demand Planning to drive accurate demand forecast

CUSTOMER PROMOTIONAL WORK
*Complete customer promotional nomination forms and send in necessary time frame
*Ensure Mercury is consistent with CDMs promotional plan and make any necessary amendments when activity plan changes
*Responsible for reconciling events in Mercury using information provided by the CDM

NPD
*Responsible for completion and sending of all new line forms to customers including marketing copy where necessary and images (CDM to provide costings)
*Updating Mercury with NPD introduction, annual discounts, volume and adding to events
*Responsible for updating NPD lines on white sheets and managing NPD tracker
*Responsible for delivery of NPD samples to customers

OTHER
*Responsible for acting on requests from MSA helpdesk (Mercury)
*Support the provision of various sales reports, including interrogating and reporting customer EPOS data
*Support business unit with general administration tasks (e.g. meeting administration)
Qualifications/Skills
Previous experience in this type of role would be an advantage
Applicants would need to demonstrate excellent working knowledge and experience of Excel and must be at an advanced high level
Powerpoint and Word at a high level
Existing experience of other systems (eg Mercury) would also be an advantage.
