Commercial Assistant, Facilities
£8.75 per hour, 35hrs p/week
Start date 18th April
City Centre based (S1)
24 week assignment
You will be required to support the management of the quoting of works and validation of invoices prior to approval process which includes:
*Liaising with Suppliers for greater breakdown of works and working with numerous managers to seek approval
*Upon approval of quotes supporting the instruction of those works
*Communicating via e-mail and on the telephone
*Supporting the logging of invoices and obtaining assurance of works being completed, that costs are correct.
*Working through monthly applications from Suppliers and prior to approval ensuring that budgets and value for money delivered with sub-contractor spend
We are looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:
*Able to work effectively & professionally with colleagues, suppliers and clients at all levels.
*Excellent organisational skills.
*Good working knowledge of Excel.
*Ability to work to deadlines.
*Attention to detail.
*Strong written & verbal communications skills and good numeric skills
This is a full time position working 35 hours per week, with an hour for lunch. This is a temporary role for 24 weeks.
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal record and credit check. These will be carried out at the offer stage at no cost to the candidate.
