A leading sub contract machine shop in Rotherham are currently expanding, they are bringing in 3 new CNC machines and require experienced programmers to join their team,there are 2 turning vacancies, mill turn experience is desired but not essential as training is provided.The company is looking for candidates to start asap due to their large order book which lets employees have all the overtime they want, paid at at premium on the already great hourly rate

This company operate a permanent day shift, the hours are either 0600-1430 or 0700-1530 depending on the candidates preference. At this time there is plenty of overtime available all paid at a shift premium including Saturday morning shifts which is paid at time and a half rate.

The company are leaders in our area for the sub contract work of oil and gas machining, the majority of their work will be exotic materials such as inconel 718 and 625.General tolerances that the company work with can range between 40thou proof machining and down to a thou for finished products.

The company are looking for skilled CNC engineers who can set,program and operate their own machine and complete their own work. This includes filling out route cards,reading engineering drawings,programming either lathes or millers from scratch and self inspection to ensure the components match engineering drawings and customer standards.Because of the experience and knowledge they require, the company are willing to pay an amazing hourly rate of £14.50-£16 an hour

All machines in this company are Fanuc controlled.
