IMMEDIATE START - CYLINDER DRIVER - CLASS 2 - LUTON - PERMANENT WORK

Job purpose

Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for delivering Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Cylinders to domestic and commercial customers. This role will include some weekend working as part of a rostered shift pattern.

Accountabilities

� Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures

� Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained

� Meet driver performance standards

� Be compliant with the driver's hours and tachograph regulations

� Loading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures

� Deliveries to customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures

� Contributing in developing customer base/reporting competitor activity in the area

� Heavy manual handling required

Job holder requirements (Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience/ Challenges/ Decision Making)

� Hold a Cat C (HGV Class 2) License

� Possess an ADR in 'Packages' with minimum Class 2 gasses (Tanks advantageous)

� Driver qualification card (DCPC)

� Be committed to provide excellent customer service

� Be reliable, flexible and hard-working (some weekend working)

� Be honest and trustworthy

� Have a safe driving record

� Ability to work in a team or on own initiative
