Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? Our client, a well-established organisation, is looking for a Claims Assistant to join their dynamic team in Huthwaite. As a Claims Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to ensure all claims are managed efficiently and effectively.
Summary:
· Start date: ASAP
· Duration: 6 months
· Location: Huthwaite
· Pay Rate: £19.81 per hour
· Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday (all onsite)
Responsibilities:
· Receive, assess, and resolve all claims on behalf of our client
· Negotiate the best deal for claim settlement
· Provide specialist advice on the best course of action, considering company policies and regulations
· Collaborate with external claimants to facilitate early settlement and minimise costs
· Train, coach, and advise managers and less experienced staff on claims procedures
· Instruct loss adjusters, agents, or solicitors, ensuring actions align with the organisation's best interests
· Maintain accurate records of all claims according to established procedures
· Manage a case load of claims, prioritising work and adhering to regulatory standards
· Handle customer issues professionally to achieve satisfactory outcomes
Candidate Requirements:
· Excellent customer service skills with strong communication abilities
· Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
· Strong administrative background with exceptional negotiation and numeracy skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
