We have a great opportunity for an individual to support the growth of our client's expansion. We are looking for someone to join their Saltley team as a Branch Assistant, to help produce sales and manage accounts while learning all aspects of the business to support the career progression plans within the company.

This role is initially on a temporary basis however if there is proven demonstration of return upon investment there may be the opportunity for this to turn into a permanent role. You will be working full time from 0800-1630 Monday-Friday

This is a hybrid role which comprises of both desk and office-based responsibilities and the management of a large contract which has recently been won.

The Role

·  To manage internal accounts including a substantial recent win, and maintain and develop relationships with customers

·  You will be first point of contact for internal customers; getting quotes, assisting with order placing and order chasing

·  Occasionally you may be required to assemble outgoing customer orders on the shop floor and prepare for delivery

·  Developing business with prospect clients

·  To order items for key customer accounts

The Person

·  Exposure to either a sales or customer service environment

·  Some experience in internal account management

·  Experience at building and managing customer relationships

·  Understanding and/or knowledge of the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operating) industry

·  Good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel

·  Personable, confident and capable of working in a busy team environment

·  Driving license essential as the role may include some elements of travel
