I am currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to work for my Client based in Liverpool.

The initial purpose of this role is to scope, co-ordinate, prepare, write and submit tenders as well as business growth proposals. This will enable you to support the Business Development Strategy of commercial construction and repairs organisations within the business.

The key objectives of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Assist with copy writing projects including award submissions, case studies and new business presentations.
- Engage with internal and external colleagues, partners and delivery partners to secure appropriate input to bids and awards, as well as motivate others to provide information, to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
- Maintain a schedule of all bid proposals submitted and status, keeping key stakeholders informed
- Ensure good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders are kept to a high standard.
- Objectively review bid and award submissions and refine approach to make improvements
- Ensure projects are submitted on time and to a high standard and are in the relevant format.
- Ensure the Health and Safety at work act is adhered to at all times, ensuring care is taken of both yourself and others who could be affected.

The skills and experience required for this role includes, but is not limited to:

- To be able to provide technical and commercial copy writing skills.
- Successful track record or providing content for corporate award submissions, as well as experience in working on multiple projects to deadlines.
- Demonstrable experience of copy writing including awards, case studies, presentations.
- Skilled researcher with the ability to gather evidence from multiple sources, as well as proven experienced in providing engaging content from technical information.
- Experienced in working on multiple projects to deadlines, as well as tracking project status and ensuring key stakeholders are informed.
- Evidence of utilising feedback to refine approach to maximise bid success rate.
- Experience of writing new business project proposals, within the construction industry.
- Demonstrable experience of building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The skills and experience required for this role includes, but is not limited to:

- The ability to work with colleagues, to ensure the clients needs are fully understood and are translated into the bid content
- Clear communication both verbally and written.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Able to motivate others and work as part of a team, to provide information on time to meet deadlines
- Advanced MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel or the equivalent is essential.
- Proven record of Bid Writing, Building client relationships or similar is essential for this role.
