Fantastic opportunity to join a well established company based in Brighton.

Our client who is a market leader within the specialist retail industry is looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join their team on a permanent basis starting immediately and paying £18-25,000 per year. As this is a retail role, the working hours are 5 days out of 7, work 40 hours per week.

As the assistant manager you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the management of store operations in order to achieve excellent customer service, financial goals and business objectives

About the Role
*Ensure all customer complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively
*Ensure the leadership vision in the store is in line with companies Vision and Values
*Utilise reports and management information in relation to Key Performance Indicators
*Set relevant performance targets and bonus schemes for all staff
*Understand and motivate store staff to get results
*Understand employment law and manage staff performance accordingly
*Create a culture of "Customer First" in store
*Manage the flow of the shop floor effectively
*Overview the inventory system
Your Objectives
*Customer excellence results, including Mystery shop
*Consistently positive feedback from customers
*Ensure all business objectives are met or exceeded
*Your store has the right people, in the right place, at the right time
*All staff are managed effectively, and supported with their own learning and development
*Understand, adapt and develop your own management style to ensure your own personal development
*Cash, till and debtor management is in place and accurate
*Support the store Manager to create a positive and energetic team environment
*Be a role model within your store so that every member of staff feels valued, so they give their best, enjoy their job and contribute to running a superb store
*Live the values and behaviours - lead by example, make it happen
*Help people understand their role, what's expected and how they fit in
*Create opportunities for regular discussion and manage performance
*Recognise people for a job well done
*Meet and exceed all personal and team goals

The ideal candidate:
*Highly organised.
*Ability to offer the highest customer service and ensure that all staff also offer this to all the customers.
