My client a successful business with sites throughout the UK are seeking an Associate Merchandiser on a 12 month contract to join their busy team based in their Woodbridge head office.

The main focus of this role will be sales forecasting at line level, control of intake, effective use and control of the Replenishment system and ensuring effective distribution of stock through level setting and maintenance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

*Analysing sales data, identifying top sellers/poor sellers and reduce/increase intake from suppliers accordingly
*Using spreadsheets/excel for data analysis of sales and stock performance
*Maintaining an accurate schedule of deliveries into the distribution centres
*Carry out regular centre visits to build internal relationships & review performance of departments
*Providing a main point of contact for stores on stock issues
*Support the maintenance of the stock replenishment system to maximise sales potential

To be successful in this role you will need to possess excellent excel skills and a strong knowledge of all other MS packages. It is essential in this role that you have previous merchandising/stock allocation experience .

Due to the location of this role and occasional travel to sites across the UK it is desired that you hold a full, clean UK driving license.
