Assistant Chef

Are you a passionate and talented Assistant Chef looking for a new opportunity to showcase your culinary skills? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in Salisbury.

£25k + fantastic benefits

Monday - Friday 7:30-3:30 (37.5 hrs)

Salisbury Based

As the Assistant Chef, you will have the chance to work in a bustling canteen environment, overseeing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Menu writing

·  Food ordering and budgeting

·  Training temporary staff

·  Maintaining FSA guidelines to ensure a safe and exceptional dining experience for all

To succeed in this role, you will need:

·  Excellent communication and customer care skills with a customer-centred approach to service delivery.

·  Teamwork is crucial, as you will collaborate with your fellow colleagues to meet organisational goals and maintain a positive working environment.

·  Basic IT skills and familiarity with relevant legislation, such as Food Hygiene and Health & Safety, are desirable.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to attend job-related training to enhance your skills and contribute to your personal and professional development. You will also have the chance to participate in internal and external catering or hospitality events, working collaboratively to set up, steward, and break down the events.
