Our client is start up company offering short term pay day loans to consumers, based out of Leamington Spa. We require an Assistant Management Accountant to assist the part time Group Financial Controller on a day to day basis to provide a comprehensive and pro-active support to help deliver the finance team objectives.
It is an exciting period for the Company as we move into the next phase. You must be either AAT qualified and/or working towards an AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification. With a minimum 2 year's experience, you must be able to perform the following tasks:
*Input of prime data
*Sales invoicing / Purchase ledgers
*Accruals and prepayments
*Payroll run / Pension processing and submission of RTIs,P45,P60,P11d, PAYE/NIC
Bank/Finance and Loan management
*Applying receipts to the loan management system.
*Regular maintenance and general accounting hygiene of the loan management system and Sage.
*Daily Bank reconciliations - To reconcile the receipts and payments account to our loan management system.
*Setting up payments using online banking
*Maintain bank mandates
*Checking expenses claims against receipts
*Checking expenses claims in line with company policy
*Checking credit card statements
*Providing general support to the finance head and business on other ad-hoc tasks.
*Knowledge of end of year accounts, assisting with preparation of management reporting and credit control is desirable.
*You must have working knowledge of Sage accounting software, numerical & analytical, highly organised
*Excellent organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail and able to work to strict deadlines.
*Knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices, standards and laws & regulations
*Qualified AAT and/or studying towards AAT,CIMA or ACCA: 2 years (Required)
